Embora sejam oriundos do Brasil, não haveria como adivinhar pois o som é predominantemente europeu, com um pouco da escola americana de jazz fusion. A arte da capa intriga, explorando o misticismo de antigos símbolos hebraicos. Os brasileiros da Ultranova apontam o futuro com a mistura sonora atemporal e cativante de Orion.

ROCK SYMPHONY – Brazilian jazz-rock fusion band Ultranova are turning heads with the 2017 CD release of Orion. Very much influenced by the great instrumental jazz-rock bands of the 1970s, Ultranova brings the fusion sound up to date with a driving groove and a band that won’t quit. Although Ultranova comes from the country of Brazil, you would never guess as the sound is very Euro flavored with a solid dose of American fusion too. Key to the Ultranova sound are the band members Thiago Albuquerque (keys), Daniel Leite Teixeira (guitars), Priamo Brandão and Mario Neto (bass) and Henrique Penna (drums). The cover art for Orion is very intriguing too with a mysticism centered around ancient Hebrew lettering. Brazilian jazz-rockers Ultranova remembers the future with the timeless, driving fusion sound of Orion.
